A unique and collectable trinket box designed by Sir John Major.
In 1996 The Princes Trust embarked on a project to celebate 20 years of fund raising for disadvantaged young people of the UK.
In association with renowned Limoges porcelain makers Dubarry, celebrities each painted a plain white mask. They were then copied and turned into various collectables to sell and raise funds for The Princes Trust.
This particular one is a trinket box, and was designed by former British Prime Minister, Sir John Major, who's mild-mannered style and moderate political stance made him the most popular prime minister in Britain since Harold Macmillan.
A beautiful and highly collectable piece.
It measures 9.5 cms x 6 cms approx.
