Depression Alliance provides services that help people to understand, work with and recover from depression. As well as providing direct support, we work to empower people to discover and explore specific treatments. We recognise that everyone has their own unique, individual experience of depression, and, in response to this, have developed an extensive range of services.

We work to relieve and to prevent this treatable condition, helping people by providing information, supporter services and self-help groups.

Our work and services include a national network of self-help groups to enable people with shared experiences and understanding to meet, talk and support each other in their recovery.  

Depression Alliance also provide an online, secure chat forum called DATalk, and a Penfriend scheme to unite people with experiences of depression.
